Maevaughn Chiu (b -1966) is an abstract artist. Her interest lies in the relationship between colour and form and the psychological effect they elicit. Her idiosyncratic style has developed out of a desire to create a language that communicates a sense of a place in my past. The indistinct memory of a sensation.

 

Chiu's work is selected for the London Royal Academy Summer Exhibition 2025.

She holds a BA(hons) in Theatre Design from Nottingham Trent University 1989.

In 2008 she studied for an MA in Fine Art at City and Guilds of London Art School.

She has exhibited regularly in London and around the UK. 

Her work is held in private collections in the UK, the EU, the USA and Canada.
